A celebration of moviemaking magic in Chatsworth (Press Release)

Amalgamated Dynamics Inc. (ADI), an Academy Award-winning studio that builds aliens, monsters, beasts and costumes for Hollywood’s greatest science fiction and fantasy films, was the site of the Cinema Heritage Project’s presentation on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 in Chatsworth.

“The Children’s Hour”


On Sept. 15, 2007, the Cinema Heritage Project presented its inaugural event, a screening of “The Children’s Hour” at Shadow Ranch Park in West Hills, California.

An audience of 200 people watched the 1961 MGM drama in front of the historic house where it was filmed. Guests toured the location and heard exclusive reminiscences by stars Shirley MacLaine and Karen Balkin, assistant director Robert Relyea and other members of the crew.
